This ultra slim 9-inch LCD drop-down TV tucks neatly away under a cupboard or counter, and the screen folds flat so you'll barely notice it's there. Until you turn it on, that is. The 9-inch LCD screen gives you good resolution and there are internal stereo speakers, which means the VE927 is ready to go without having to hook into your existing audio system.

The VE927 features a built-in DVD player that also plays CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs. You can even play MP3 files that are on CD-R discs in this dynamic little machine. Want to watch the news while you're preparing dinner? The VE927 offers a built-in ATSC/NTSC TV tuner that's cable ready so you can get all your favorite channels, just like a regular television. There's also an AM/FM radio built in. You can also see all of your favorite pictures on the 9-inch screen by playing a JPEG picture CD. As you can see, the VE927 may be small in size, but it's big on useful features.

An AV output on the VE927 lets you connect and watch DVDs on another television. Repeat, program and resume play give you some control over how you watch your favorite programming and listen to your music. There's even language, sub-title, and multi-angle selection. You can adjust the 16:9 screen format for wide or normal viewing. A cooking timer lets you know when the cookies are done, and a remote control lets you fire away commands from across the room.
