Fully-compatible with DIRECTV's entire HD offerings, the DIRECTV Plus HD DVR is the only way to get the full line of HD Programming from DIRECTV via satellite. NOTE: This unit IS a digital video recorder, but it is NOT a "TiVo" (in other words, it does NOT have the TiVo software and does not use the TiVo peanut remote).
